Koi ideas

I have  always loved the colors and patterns of koi fish, and since I started making stained glass, I've always wanted to try a panel with them.
For a first try, I came up with this idea. These are actually the same pattern, painted slightly differently, with one turned 180 degrees.  I did them separately and then accidentally put them up like this, but I like what happened.

I am trying pattern color combos ahead of time... I always mean to,  as it is a good idea (plus it saves glass and time) but I usually get too excited and just dive right in.  Planning really does make a HUGE difference for the better.  I just need to force myself to do it.
