PAINTING FACES
Working with kids is always an eye-opener. The ideas they had for their own faces were great...and more than I could have envisioned. Most of these were done at a walk for Cancer where I volunteered last summer. It was a beautiful sunny day and I had a lot of customers! They were so polite and they were able to sit really still, too! This was a great help. I hope to do it again this year.
I use Diamond FX face paints. They are wonderful and easy to use and blend. If you want to take a look: http://www.facepaintingtips.com/shop/
The idea for the 'lipstick' came from the kids...I love it and think it adds a great touch. They chose their own colors and had fun with it.
This little girl had just woken up, I think! She was very still and smiled afterward!
This guy knew exactly what he wanted. I used his camouflage pants as a reference. I think we did a good job!
Very shy, but very happy with it, even though she looks a bit scared here!
This girl was older and said I could just do whatever I wanted, so we went with flowers and designs.
The tiger is one of my faves...these two boys liked it, too. I've got to say, There was a really nice bunch of kids there that day!
We made this up...He asked if I could do a dragon. And he was happy with the results!
A little pirate. Before we started, he told me, "but I don't like moustaches..." His mom and I explained that for a pirate to have one was pretty important so he decicded that was okay.
I loved this little boy. So polite and sweet. He was so shy until we finished and when I held up the mirror, I saw a big smile. So serious for the camera, though!
Just a test run on my own face. When you have no queueing children and plenty of time....
