Mermaid

I started this one a few years ago. I love the design. I've always wanted to create a mermaid panel.  I based it on an image I saw on the internet and I was excited by the possibilities in colors and textures the right glass could create. I have had to alter the pattern as I go, and I've had to use different glass than intended because I could no longer get enough of the glass I was going to use for the water. This is part of the process for me and it's challenging to find new solutions that work.  But sometimes, it leads to an even better final outcome than I had anticipated. Different glass can completely change a panel!
